TQ for your concern. But our family would like some privacy, especially our father who had a minor stroke recently. Hope media understands.
Semoga keluarga ini tabah dengan dugaan yang melanda.

What is mini or minor stroke?
Minor stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) occurs when part of the brain experiences a temporary lack of blood flow.
The symptoms will be the same like stroke but last only a few minutes and resolve within 24 hours.
Unlike a stroke, a TIA doesn't kill brain tissue or cause permanent disabilities.
This is a sign or warning for permanent stroke. The risk of major stroke after TIA is very high.
The symptoms include:
-Feel numb or weakness in the face, arms, or legs, especially on one side of the body
-Diffult to speak or understanding
-Sudden confusion
-Sudden vision problems
-Dizziness, loss of balance, difficult to walk
-Sudden severe headache with no obvious cause
"Act F.A.S.T." campaign is important for public to know as it can save the life of stroke patient
F.A.S.T. stands for:
1) Face -Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
2) Arms -Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
3) Speech -Ask the person to repeat a simple sentence. Does he or she have trouble or are the words slurred?
4) Time -Time is critical. Call 911 immediately.
